Story

Laguna was once a wise and benevolent prince, his mother and father were wise and kind to the people of his land, Enterra. From the very first day laguna was born he was flung into a world he could neither comprehend, nor find any liking for.

Laguna was trained by a man called Sydney - a powerful sorcerer, but only to wield spells that were of kind and pure nature, he could conjure up a butterfuly after a week of training. laguna found his life tedious, but one day... all that changed.

Laguna found upon an old book in the library, it was very dusty and hidden, he opened it and to his shock was flung into an alternate reality - and the figure he saw before him was... was he wrong? his father?

King Loire: If you're seeing this - then you have found my old diary, this is where I have kept my darkest secret, I confess to you... whomever you are, I confide in you - I am a dark sorcerer... and I brought diaster into my home of Sostagaria... I brought it down to ashes because of this... this vile power I have inside of me.

Laguna: Father! No, this cannot be! FATHER!

But before laguna could attempt to say anything more he was flung from within the book, tears running down his face... he fled his kingdom and vowed never to return...

Laguna wandered the forests for days... starving himself, he only stopped to drink from nearby streams and rivers... he always pressed onwards... until one day he came across something that made his life seem.. odd, he came across something wounded which at first he thought was a large bat, but as he came closer he discovered something... it was a monster!

Laguna: DEMON! prepare to fight!

demon: Hold your tongue, knave! I... will not live much longer as is...

Laguna listened intently as he discovered the creatures origin, he was indeed a Devil - a devil who had fallen in combat... he listened to it's story... he felt strange in doing so, but his old nature was showing itself, he told the creature of his story... little did he know it was the beginning...

demon: Give me your hand... I have not much time left...

Laguna grabbed the demon's claw and all of a sudden he felt a surge of energy as something rushed inside him... a blade appeared from inside of his hand, and an orb like barrier surrounded him... he heard the creatures voice speak to him, that now it's power was his...

Laguna returned to his former kingdom, to seek out Sydney and ask for guidance... but as he arrived, the place was in a blaze! he rushed to the top of the tower to discover... Summonings? the divine ritual... this was the work of...Sydney, his former mentor had taken over the palace using ancient rings of summoning! and... in the corner, laguna saw them... the king and queen, his mother and father... dead.

Laguna searched high and low for Sydney and found him atop the highest tower, where they did battle and Laguna used his new powers to their fullest, taking the rings of summoning form Sydney... he fled once more...

New Friend, New Beginning

Exactly one year after the destruction of his kingdom, Laguna had become stronger, faster, and a more brutal killing machine - he even took over the Underworld and sat atop the throne, a solemn king watching souls enter for their eternal torment... but one day he came across a man far different from any other he had ever met, he was not entirely a man... he was half man, half demon... his name was Yuri Hyuga.

Slave: Master! This is the trouble maker, his name is Yuri Hyuga!

Yuri: let me go you little ass! let me go or i'll make you wish you'd never been born!

Laguna: Hah... such spirit... tell me.. Yuri was it? Tell me why you've been causing trouble in my empire?

Yuri: Hmph, as if you would even care... You're nothing but a pathetic little man who only got where he is through dumb luck!

Laguna: I warn you, Yuri... You're testing my patience

Yuri and Laguna eventually broke into conflict in which Yuri transformed and it was a stalemate... they both admitted it to the horror of the underlings, but they made a bond of friendship that day... an unlikely friendship at that...

Laguna taught Yuri how to wield dark magic, in exchange for Yuri teaching him the ability of 'Harmonixer' the power to fuse with demons.

Laguna and Yuri went their seperate ways after that, laguna giving Yuri a headstart on his Quest as thanks. Laguna then used his new found powers to seal the demons that had ravaged his kingdom, Amon: The God of Destruction, and Seraphic Radiance: The God of Essence - into his body.

Laguna has been tortured ever since, looking onwards at so much havoc and chaos... he also managed to seal two other demon gods: Czernoborg and Lobo, and fused with an Overlord of an Alternate netherworld - Tyrant, with Tyrant he was able to create two super-charged demons - Tyr and Babel.

Laguna has since heard news of his son, Ryoken and will stop at nothing to find him!
